Hola!!

Yes, the time has FINALLY come. I'm going to CHILE!!! I leave the MTCMonday morning at 4. The MTC has been an amazing experience. I honestly cannot believe how much I have learned and grown in such a short time. The first night at the MTC, you go in a group and meet an investigator. More experienced missionaries come in and begin teaching, kind of get to know the investigator, pray, talk a little bit about the church, and then they are invited to leave and the new missionaries take over. They answer questions as a group and teach a lesson together. Well, this week, Hermana McKay and I were invited to be the missionaries who start it out for the new missionaries. It was a really cool experience. Before it started, we were in the sound booth thing and I was just watching all the missionaries on their first day and remembering my first day November 2, 2011. I had tears in my eyes as I thought back to that day, and how far I've come since then. I have truly been taught, shaped, and molded by the Lord. I have seen it so clearly as I am given different experiences. I have seen how I am learning to be better, to be more patient and humble. I of course still have a long way to go. But it has just been so incredible to see the changes in myself already. The Lord will do great things with each of us if we let Him. I am still in complete awe that I am here. A little over 4 years ago, I knew next to nothing about this Gospel. But in the Lord's love and mercy I have been able to find the truth, and I have been able to be strong and now be a missionary for Him. What an incredible honor. I want to live every single day of my mission to the absolute fullest- serve with ALL my heart, might, mind, and strength. Lose myself in the service of others. Anyway, I'm rambling. But already I am so so so grateful for this opportunity. And I can't wait to find out what comes next!!!
