Another wonderful week

Hola!

Okay so I realized I never told you all where I am! I am serving in the city of Temuco, in an area called Caupolican. It is in the central of this bigger city, so that's nice cause we have plenty of stores and even a mall where we usually go on pdays. This week has been great. We have had SOOO much help from the members of our ward, it's amazing!! Like I think 6 different people went out with us! That's so amazing!! We had 14 lessons with a member present this week, just one short of our goal for 15 a week!! Everyone back home, seriously help the missionaries!! They need it and it is much appreciated. We have a great ward and a wonderful Bishop. He's young, only about 35, and he and his wife have three young kids. They're sooo cute, and Bishop is the sweetest. He really cares and is involved in the missionary work with us. It's great.

Wanted to say thank you to Brittany Vardakas, Elaine Codd, and Brooke Carpenter for your letters!! I got them all this week and it made me soo happy. I wish I could write you all back right away but I have like no time ever, haha so I am sorry but I love you all and I promise I will get around to writing you back as soon as I can :)

Domitila is ready for her baptism this Saturday!!! My first baptism!! I'm so excited!!!! During one of our lessons with her, one of her daughters who is deaf and mute was there, and she has been there for lessons in the past... But she was all excited and ¨told¨ the family she wants to be baptized too! Haha no way!! They have a family like sign language to communicate. But um, yeah, we're super excited. Oh, this is the family that lives right in front of us. Like our little house is in back of theirs. They're great. I'm so excited for them! So we will start teaching Delila (the deaf one) more this week. It will be an interesting experience, we will probably teach a lot with pictures and movies and need the help of the family to communicate. But Rosa, another of Domatila's daughters who is a member, told us how much she loved us the other day... She said, As much as I've loved all the missionaries who have lived here over the years, you two are special. I feel like we knew each other in the pre-earth life and you told me you would come here and help my family. Awww, it was so sweet. I am happy to be able to help such a great family come together in the Gospel!! The gospel is all about families, and it makes me smile to get to be a part of their story:)

Those who can attend the temple, do it often! I miss it so much. It is amazing. We had a conference with Elder Corbridge of the Seventy the other week, and it was seriously amazing. He talked about how the most important thing in this life is the Gift of the Holy Ghost. He talked about how all good things in our lives come from the Spirit- joy, peace, love, sealing of families in temples, everything. So the most important thing is that we live our lives so we can receive the Holy Ghost and keep Him with us. The Spirit is the most important element in missionary work. We would be so lost without it, and no one would ever care what we had to say. The Spirit so many times softens the hearts of the people and touches them. I am so grateful to have this calling and to have the Spirit with me all the time.

Well, out of time. Thank you all for your love and prayers. I am so so so happy. I can't even tell you how happy. I have never been happier in my life. I love this gospel and the joy it brings to me and others. I know it is true!!

Love you tons,
Hermana Danielle Anderton

Scripture of the week:
He is the light and life of the world; yea, a light that is endless, that can never be darkened; yea, an also a life which is endless, that there can be no more death. (Mosiah 16:9, speaking of Jesus Christ)
